Questions that will be asked
- What does your company provide, and what problem is it solving?
- Who do you serve? (size, industry & geography)
- How are you different? (from your main competitors)
- Pricing (ideally specifics, but pricing models and budget ranges at a minimum)
- Do you have any outcomes or ROI metrics you can share? (optional)
*Please keep in mind that this video may be shared with producers, account managers, and clients. Be sure to provide simple explanations and avoid jargon or assumptions of their knowledge in the space. For example, clearly state what you offer: “We provide Employee Assistance Programs” instead of “We are a work-life optimization engine.”
Q&A
- What is the format of the presentation?
Each question should be answered verbally in 1 minute or less with a single slide visual (answer slide). Only the answer slides and verbal answers will be in the video, the presenter will not be shown in the video.
The 5 answer slides need to be sent to Shortlister 2 days prior to the scheduled recording as a Power Point, PDF, or PNG files (4000x2250 pixels). - Who will have access to the video?
These videos are available to the broker and consultant users within the Shortlister Platform. - How long will I need to block out to complete the recording?
The recording itself could take as little as 15 minutes, but you should block off 30 minutes in case there are questions, retakes, etc. - Can we do a second take if I don’t like my answer?
Yes, we will do two complete takes of the questions. - Can my video be updated periodically?
Our recommendation is to update your video annually during your Essentials Plan renewal. If your business has a major change and you need to re-record, you may do so for a $500 fee. - Do I have to re-record each year if nothing has changed?
No, you can keep the same video year-to-year if you are satisfied with the content. - Can I provide my own recording?
We do not allow you to provide your own video. Shortlister users expect consistency in the format and quality of this series. This is easiest to control by recording the videos ourselves. - Can we get a copy of the final video to share with our audience?
Yes, you can use the video as you see fit but cannot modify it in any way.
