Access to RFI Information by Brokers

Visibility Settings Update

Previously, Shortlister has given brokers the ability to request access to a vendor's RFI, so that they can view answers outside of an active RFP. When they do this, the Primary Admin on your account receives an email notification of the request and they can approve the request.

In reviewing this feature, we noticed that every broker request to view the RFI has been approved by our vendor partners. As a result, Shortlister is changed the default to allow your RFI information to be visible to our broker users without needing to request access.

To prevent a particular broker from viewing your RFI information, the Primary Admin on your account can deny access. They can do this by adding that broker to a “blacklist” at the bottom of the RFI section in Shortlister.
